What began as a hobby is now a full time job for Jackie Palmer.

Jackie learned about the trade of homemade soap crafting at a young age. Her first experience with the craft came from her mother, who made soap to do her family's laundry. Jackie quickly noticed that her family's clothes were noticeably cleaner than everyone else's; they had the whitest whites in town.

Like her mother, Jackie began making homemade soap for herself and her family to use. At first it was only a hobby, but after her friends began trying to buy her soap from her, she decided to start selling it at local arts and crafts shows.
After having tremendous success at local crafts shows, Jackie decided to turn her hobby into a small business. She has since passed the tradition down to her daughter, Janine. Who makes homemade, natural soaps out of her home in Wisconsin.
